Two panel discussions to form the crux of the first day of Arabsat's Broadcasting Forum
This years Arabsat Broadcasting Forum will begin on the 20th of October in Morocco.
The agenda of the day includes a welcome note by Khalid Balkheyour the President and CEO of Arabsat, and two opening speeches, by Mustapha el Khalfi, minister of communications and spokesperson of the government, and Amina Lemrini, President of the higher council of audio visual communication.
The first panel discussion is titled: A modern video neighbourhood for MENA at 26°E
The moderator for this panel will be Dr. Naser Refaat, TV technical services executive from rotana media group
The panellists include Khalid Balkheyour, President and CEO of Arabsat; Ali Ahmed al-Kuwari, CEO of Eshailsat; Saud Alganam, CEO of Almajd network; Samir Safir, CEO of My-HD; David Guerra, VP product and content acquisition at trio, and Dr. Raed Khusheim, CEO of Selevision.
The second panel of the day will discuss content development and protection.
This will be moderated by Chris Forrester and feature panellists including Sam Barnett, CEO, mbc; Dr. Naser Refaat, TV technical services executive at Rotana media group; Dr. Riyadh Najm Media Expert; Jamal Eddine Naji, Director General of audio visual communication; Amr el-Kahky, CEO of Al Nahar TV; Nabil al-Shanti, Vice President and CCO at Arabsat, and Hanya Borham Atallah, copyright management director art.
